salary in nursing profession

Hellow nursing people, today i would like to ask many of nursing people in india and in foreign one question that
"WHY OUR SALARY IS LESS,WE WORK MORE BUT YET PAYED LESS"

REMEMBER THIS ALWAYS" THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR IS SALARY SOCIALLY WHEN ANY BODY WILL COME TO KNOW THAT NURSES EARN SO MUCH LIKE 50,000-1,00,000 AUTOMATICALLY THE RESPECT WILL BE GROWN IN PEOPLES MIND" by AMIT BARVE

SO THAT IS WHY WE SHOULD HAVE A GOOD HANDFUL AMOUNT OF SALARY

In some states or some institutions the salary situation is changing we are gettin paid but fot most of other institutions mostly in hospitals the administration thinks that nurses are not eligible to get that amount of salary but the UGC salary structure , the central government,DHS, DMER, varies very much accordingly,so there must be uniformity in the salary of the nurses may be it in clinicals or in academics,
TNAI has submitted Memorandum submitted to the Sixth Central Pay Commission for revising the existing pay scales of nursing personnel the link is http://www.tnaionline.org/memorandum.htm
please read it completely so u will understand what is happening about the salary of nursing profession
also another UGC link http://www.ugc.ac.in/policy/25.html.
the  maharashtra government sayshttp://www.maharashtra.gov.in/pdf/6th.php
http://maharashtra.gov.in/

so please   read carefully and if u have ur things to add please comment on it so i can know and the whole india can be aware of it,
also i urge all nursing people to be alert and help our profession to grow
THINK SOCIALLY AND GROW OUR PROFESSION TALK ABOUT IT AS IT IS A GREAT PROFESSION
THANKS

  3. ya budy am supporting with ur statement..because in india salary for nurses is the biggest issue ..like other professionals v are also a professionl .so how there demands are fulfilled ours also should be done, because like others we are also taking bachelors , masters, and doctrate degree in nursing.we are doing a respectful service.in other words a noble profession so i think we must get handsum money ...like foreign countries are giving respectful salary ,india must practice that.... so i just want to say to my fellow colleagues to raise our voice and lets shoulder ourselves together and fight for our demands.....

  4. dude i have seen the 1st comment of your blog ...by reading that i feel bad to the statement, and it is written in just a silly way . why it takes time to fulfill the demands .just ask ourselves it is because v are not fightinig for our rights...whether we have any unions or any asociations.like doctors and other technical professionals they have there own associtions and groups . so we are lacking....

  6. my friend u r sayin exactly right because TNAI if u see some years back ,they use to make some changes and share a hand to nurses but today these associations do not come forward and give a hand to nurses, all became corrupted so by seein this the hope we set in this associations becomes zero....so as per my suggestion i would like to say apart from TNAI we must make such type of association which should know the pain of the nurses and provide a right guidance....

yes but making a associations is not a one man show i beleive in technology today so we may use our internt to make changes and welcome ideas from all of nursing people so we may bring about necessary changes.lets hope for best
